Data Collection and Use
Browsing our website and most other products or services do not require any personally identifying information. AZZ may collect limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This includes monitoring user traffic patterns throughout the site according to a user's domain name, browser type, browser language, date and time of access, and pages viewed. Our website servers collect the domain names but not the e-mail addresses of visitors. This information is collected in order to measure the number of visitors to our website and to determine which areas of the website users find most useful based upon the amount of traffic to particular areas. AZZ uses this information to enhance users' experiences at the site and to better prepare future content based on the interests of users to our website. On occasion, a visitor to our website may be asked to provide personal information. By this we mean information that individually identifies you, such as your name, company name, physical address, e-mail address or other contact details. In most cases, personal information is used only to respond to inquiries. AZZ will not provide email addresses or other visitor information to any non-AZZ organization or partner. When we require personally identifying information, we will inform you regarding the types of information we collect and how we use it. We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing your personal information with AZZ. It is then up to you to decide if you want to provide the information or not.
We do not rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your permission. We may share such information in any of the following limited circumstances:
- We have your expressed consent.
- We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing your request on our behalf. When this is done, it is subject to agreements that obligate those parties to process such information only upon our instructions and in compliance with this policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
- We conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of AZZ, its website users or the public.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. We restrict access to your personally identifying information to AZZ employees who need to know that information in order to fulfill your request or supply our products and services.
