Further, GalvaBar provides exceptional post-fabrication formability without the coating cracking, peeling, or flaking. GalvaBar Continues to Increase in Popularity

To maintain superior quality, AZZ processes GalvaBar at a dedicated facility in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Widely available through distribution channels and used by the U.S. Department of Transportation and construction firms across the U.S. and Canada, GalvaBar is ideal for a variety of applications, such as steel-reinforced concrete for bridge decks and highways, as well as precast and cast-in-place steel reinforced concrete structures.

In just one example, GalvaBar helped the town of Independence, Iowa, expeditiously replace a rapidly deteriorating bridge over Buffalo Creek that dated back to 1928. As a major traffic thoroughfare, town leaders wanted to minimize construction time without compromising safety or projected service life. County engineers chose GalvaBar for its long-term corrosion resistance, durability, and availability to significantly reduce project lead times. Despite record rains and lost time due to severe flooding, the Buffalo Creek bridge replacement project was completed in a little over four months and is set to safely transport residents for many decades to come.
